4th Memorial Football Tournament
We are holding our 4th Memorial Football Tournament Fundraiser at Boreham Wood FC this year and we would love you to join us. We are seeing a huge amount of interest in the day already with a few celebrity ex football players coming along to support us too. So far we have 6 teams but it would be great to have 12 teams like we did last year. If you are interested in getting involved and would like to put a team together please get in touch asap. We are also looking for help on the day so if you would like to volunteer we would love to hear from you.
As we all know Knife Crime is not slowing down and with so many lives lost we the community need to help #changethestoryaboutknifecrime and build young people up by helping them to be the best that they can be. We are doing a lot of positive work by sharing our story in schools, colleges and universities and we are also in the process of launching our Peer Support and Art Therapy programme sometime after September. We want to help support victims and their families of violent crime as we know there is little support available. We have financially supported other community organisations who like us are working hard to make a difference and we are helping young people by also supporting them financially while sponsoring them in their endeavours to live a full and healthy life.
We are not government funded so we are relying on your help and generosity again this year with our fundraiser and we would not be able to do all of the things that we do without your support. We are working really hard to raise the funds to open up a workshop where we can help people to learn new skills, from carpentry to painting and decorating to beauty therapy, floristry and creative art skills. We have a big goal to reach but I know we can get there with your help and we will continue to work hard to make it happen.
We hope you can join us on the 24th of August but if you can’t please donate to our Charity Justgiving page. https://www.justgiving.com/joshhansoncharitabletrust
Lots of love always
