Good morning everyone.
Sitting on Joshua Sean’s bed looking at his photos of friends and family on his wall and writing the following does not make any sense to me at all as I keep thinking this is all a terrible nightmare that I will wake up from.
Josh’s final farewell celebration of his life will be held at the Scared Heart Church, Quex Road, Kilburn, http://www.omiquex.org.uk/ on the 20th November 2015. This is open to all and we ask you to be inside the church and seated by 1pm, the service will last for an hour and will be carried out by Father Terry. We ask you to wear anything other than black as Josh was full of life and adored all things bright and colourful, and as a true reflection of his personality I would like you all to shine just like him ❤️.
As our future plans will be to help others who may find themselves in this horrific situation we ask you to donate to a charity that is active in fighting unprovoked knife crime or our gofundme/joshhanson page rather than bringing flowers. If however you feel you would like to lay flowers please could it be a single stem offering this way the flowers can be collected and placed in vases.
Close family and friends will then continue on to the Hendon Crematorium, Mill Hill for 3pm for a short committal service.
Josh’s wake is being held at Allianz Park, Mill Hill http://www.allianzpark.com/ from 4pm until 8pm. Josh’s final farewell will be an alcohol free event other than the toast. We will all be able to celebrate his life by playing one of his favourite games ‘Roulette’, listen to some of his favourite music while looking out on to the pitch where he had his school sports days. We will have some #JusticeforJoshHanson merchandise available for those of you who would like to be involved with us in future fundraising activities and a mini auction will take place too. All proceeds will go to our impending charity The Josh Hanson Charitable Trust.
It will never be goodbye Josh I will always feel your arm around me, guiding and protecting me. We will celebrate your life Son and keep your memory alive while helping others I promise, all my ❤️ Mum x
