A new series of our Fine Lines well-being workshops has recently been commissioned following a successful bid from National Lottery Awards for All. Places on these monthly drop-in sessions are very much in demand, as they provide the local community with a safe space to explore emotions and develop valuable coping mechanisms for everyday mental health challenges, such as anxiety, stress and trauma.
“We are thrilled to have secured funding for our popular community Fine Lines workshops which offer a unique blend of therapeutic art techniques and engagement for local people
(adults, children and young people) many of whom have experienced trauma or bereavement,” explained Tracey Hanson, CEO of The Josh Hanson Trust (TJHT). “At the workshops, we integrate mindfulness and breath-work alongside art techniques to help people manage their emotions more effectively.”
Refreshments and all art materials including paints, paper and pens, are included.
The workshops are running every third Wednesday of the month from 4pm to 6pm in North West London at Harrow Baptist Church, College Rd, HA1 1BA, until December 2027.
