Hello everyone I hope that you are all well.
I have prayed day and night that the day would come where we no longer had to keep distributing wanted posters because an arrest would have happened. I prayed that I would be able to write that a charge for Josh’s murder would have happened in my monthly post on the 11th of the month and today Thursday the 11th of April 2019 and 42 months later I can.
The last few weeks have been indescribable, the relief and pain have both come in equal measures, it is hard to feel relief when the relief is a consequence of Josh’s murder. Brooke and I have been to court twice and we have had to endure such painful experiences as you can imagine, this I would not wish on anyone.
The next few months are going to be hard, we will be challenged and we will no doubt need support and encouragement and while we are strong and fighting for justice for Josh so that he can rest in peace, please know that we are in a great deal of pain too.
I want to thank every single person in the UK and around the world for helping us distribute the wanted posters, for every message of support and for every like, share or comment on my posts. When I have had my darkest moments when I have no longer wanted to be a part of this world or when I have not been able to see past opening my eyes to another day of heartache you and your interaction have kept me going.
I have taken a few weeks out from social media as I am trying hard to adjust but I will do my best to catch up with your messages, posts, birthdays, anniversaries etc but if I miss some please know you are all in my heart.
