Yesterday’s Festive Wreath Workshop was a huge success and the feedback from everyone that attended was very positive too. Our Counselor Ellen was on hand throughout the day and held 20 minute sessions which were very popular and beneficial especially for those that had never experienced talking therapy. Our trustees and volunteers ensured that the day ran smoothly helping everyone to create their very own bespoke wreaths.
The atmosphere was very peaceful and comforting as we celebrated the life of our angels while making wreaths and sharing conversations covering a host of topics most importantly the unnecessary pain and trauma that knife crime has had on us. We also made wreaths for the loved ones of families that could not attend on the day too.
Thank you to everyone who made yesterday a very powerful and memorable experience for everyone and a huge thank you to Fr Terry and the team at the Scared Heart Church, Quex Road, Kilburn for accommodating us and looking after us again this year.
